Refractory technical parts
Aurock manufactures fibres reinforced refractory castable (FRRC) parts which can work until 1200°C. They fulfil mechanical aspect, surface finishing and dimensional behavior. These parts could be used as forming tool for metallic alloy at high temperature, insulating blocks on presses but also as holder during thermal treatments due to their excellent thermal shock resistance.
The fibres in the refractory castable increases life of parts. The Aurock know-how guaranteed a surface finish and a dimensional behavior satisfying the needed of the most exigeant industries (aeronautical).

Aurock designs parts with CATIA V5 software. This design integers the fibres reinforced refractory castable specificities as material for technical parts. - Structures sizing :
The engineering and design department could sizes the fibres reinforced refractory castable structure with finite-elements simulation (thermical and mechanical) to guaranteed the service life.
Patterns
The manufacturing of fibres reinforced refractory castable parts needs a pattern. Aurock designs and follows the pattern manufacturing. This pattern could be in steel, wood, resin, silicon depending on the need in terms of surface finishing or dimensional behavior. The pattern will take into account all the specific need of the part.
Refractory parts
These parts can range from few grams to 2000 kg.
The manufacturing of fibre reinforced refractory castable part could integer :
- Surface finishing check
- Part firing at the using temperature
- Surfaces grinding if necessary
- Dimensional quality control if necessary
Services
Aurock takes in charge the delivery of parts. The parts are delivered in a specific packaging adapted to the refractory castable. They can be mark with the customer internal reference.
The tools service behavior is guaranteed if the customer has chosen the sizing stage.
Aurock can also take in charge, in collaboration with the client, the validation of a new handling equipment by a certified organization.
